Where is the Blending Experience?
We are located on the first floor of the Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston.

Please enter through the Wine Bar and Tasting room, where one of our Sommeliers will greet you before class.
The Front desk will be able to assist should you have questions upon arrival.
What is the cost of the class?
The Bohemian Wine Blending Experience price can be found here and includes gratuity. Tax is excluded and will be calculated at checkout.
Is there food or wine during the class?
We provide light nibbles (cheese & crackers) during class. If you are interested in ordering a full charcuterie board, please let us know in the 'Special Instruction & Comment' section of your order.
How much wine is there?
You will taste four wines that you will use to make your blend, and then you will create and taste your three blends. It is a lot wine, but we provide water and a container (spitoon) for any unwanted wine. Additionally, each guest takes home their own full size bottle!
What should I wear?
Dress is “Charleston-Casual”, though darker colors are always encouraged. We suggest to not wear clothing with loose sleeves.
I am not a wine expert. Do I need to know anything about wine? What level of knowledge is required?
Our Sommeliers will help guide you through the tasting and assist you in making your perfect blend. No expertise or wine knowledge needed! We simply suggest you like drinking wine!
How many people do you need to book a blending class?
There is no minimum! We can accommodate one guest up to a party of 12.
Can we book a private blending?
Yes, the blending room can be reserved for private blendings or dinners. Please contact us with the date, time and number of guests for your private event to receive more detailed information.
Who typically takes these classes?
Couples for date night, a friends’ night out, hotel guests, local Charlestonians, birthday parties, corporate events, and wine enthusiasts of all levels.
What types of wine do you blend? Is it only Red Wine?
Yes, we only blend red wine during our classes, though you can taste some amazing white wines in the Bohemian Wine Bar and Tasting Room.
Are gift cards available?
E-Gift cards for Wine Blending only are currently available for purchase online. E-Gift Cards can be applied to any open class based on availability during checkout. Please visit our Gift Card page to purchase.
Important notes: Checkout price includes tax and fees already. Cash refunds are not available for E-Gift Cards purchases.
What is the cancellation policy?
Classes may be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance in order to receive a full refund. Any cancellations or bookings made within the 48 hour window will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be provided for no-shows.
Please note, we reserve the right to cancel any class at any time at our discretion. If we exercise this right of cancellation, we will refund any fees that have been paid in advance or reschedule for a later date.
